Star Hunters in Term 3
Just like real astronomers you will need to plan a targeted viewing schedule and submit it ahead of the visit for approval. To do this you will use the suggested target list and customised software to simulate the view from the Observatory on the night and time of their visit. On the night of the program you will also control the movement of the telescope and in groups tutor your cohort on what you are seeing.
