A Nazi knocks at the door, he asks, “Are there any Jews in the neighbourhood?” as he cradles his machinepistol. Two trucks full of soldiers were unloading as he spoke. You tense up, the corners of your mouth stream into a grimace. You hope the floor between the basement that hides the Jewish family and the ground floor is thick enough to keep them quiet to the impending doom that knocked on their door in the shape and form of an SS soldier rounding up Jews for the extermination camps. One white lie could save the Jewish family and one white lie could endanger you and your family. What would you do?

There is no such thing as a completely right decision, however choosing to lie would be the act that leads to saving that family. Whereas choosing to tell the truth would definitely lead to their death. It seems that lying in this case would be good. But is it always.
