Leadership Conference 2017

You first, leaders last. That is the concept of Service Leadership.
With throngs of other Student Leaders from around Sydney, the FSPS Leadership Team attended the 2017 Leadership Conference at Olympic Park. There they learnt the Four Responsibilities of a Leader, how to think outside the box to solve problems, how to work with our strengths and appreciate diversity in a team...and more.

What do the chicken dance, hippos, meeting new people, service and leadership have in common? The 2017 Student Leadership Conference.

The fantastic Fort Street Student Leadership Team travelled to the Leadership Conference lead by the Grip team at Sydney Olympic Park. The team sacrificed sleep time to get up early, take a train ride and hustled their way into a huge venue full of Student Leaders from all over Sydney. We learnt to the importance of service as leadership, thinking outside the box and how to support schools through building team skills.

Though, my favourite part was when we got up and had to talk to people from other schools. I LOVED IT. by Joe
