Braving the weather, 5/6M visited the Museum of Contemporary Art to see and experience Light Shows. From Chromosaturation to computerised lights, 5/6M participated in a range of activities to broaden their understanding of art and light. Below are their thoughts.

I enjoyed the cinema projecter because when I was walking through the light it was as if I was swimming in water. There was also this room with 3 colours and wherever you stood it would still look amazing. The group I was in had to write about a colour they saw in the room that reminded them of a flavour and I chose purple. Purple reminded me of grapes and I wrote about me eating them on a hill.

i enjoyed when there was a projecter showing a prism and there was fog and when you went inside the prism it looked like you went to heaven.

one of the activities were when we were making our own robots or tech.

but unfortunatly we did not get to keep our robots and tech.

E very one had a nice time at the museum of con temporary art. With our main focus of lights we visited many exhibits including a room of colours and a bunch of lights and colours. After all the fun we went into a workshop where webuilt our own works of art. Orange is like a giant carrot

I liked the cinima room because it felt like I was in a giant cloud. I also enjoyed the LittleBits workshop and how there was a number of creations that were awesome.

1) I liked the one when we go to the dark room and going through the hologram.
2) Building the lights.

I enjoyed going into the rainbow room because there was so many colours and it would trick your eyes when you staired at a colour for to long! I also enjoy working with the little bits because me and gabi made a disk that had N and G that went aroung in a circle! I also loved the box where when the peerson shut the door you would only see a mirror but no one looking at you but they could see you! In the box it felt like you were dropping. I loved everything about the light show because it was so colourful!

I really like the chronosaturation room mostly because the longer you stare at the light the brighter the colour went but it was also made our clothes and skin different colours so nikki tried eating Ellie and i's tee shirt because it looked like chocolate. My group got to make holes in a page so we could look at the light behind it.

I enjoyed the box room because it looked like you were falling a really long way down. I also enjoyed the colourful room because it tricked your eyes into thinking that the walls were changing colour. one of my favourite parts was making things out of little bits.

5/6m went to the museum of contemporary art and saw a the light exhibition. I have 2 favourite exhibits the projector exibit and the three light exibit. The projector projected moving shapes on the wall and if you stood in front of it it seemed as if you were in a entirety different room.

my favourite part of the exhibition was the cinema room because
1) it felt like I was in the sea
2) then in a cloud

IT WAS AWESOME!
