Maths Review

Maths Review
Year 6 please complete review in your Practice Books, pages 45 -  56 (optional challenge to complete Review 6: pages 57-71)
That would mean 1 page per day, and 2 pages per day to complete the optional challenge. I would highly recommend to use Khan Academy when you need help or you need to update a skill that you have forgotten. For example, if you forgot how to calculate algebraic expressions (from Term 1) you can enter “algebraic expressions” into khan academy and get many videos and supporting tasks like this one https://www.khanacademy.org/math/algebra-basics/alg-basics-algebraic-expressions

Otherwise, circle it and we will review in class.

Year 5 please complete review in your Practice Books, pages 50-57. One page per two days. Again,  I would highly recommend to use Khan Academy when you need help or you need to update a skill that you have forgotten. Otherwise, circle it and we will review in class.

Review & Being Smarter tips:
You have learnt and developed a lot of skills in expression and writing, also you have developed many skills and problem solving strategies in maths. However, without a little practice daily you can easily forget them. Please practice a little each day to keep it fresh and deeper in mind. Remember spaced practice is better than binge (mass) practice.

And yes, keep a smile, spend time with friends and family and be happy!
Sincerely,
Mr Mc
